Alex Lee, DDS

Diplomate, American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Dr. Alex Lee operates on a simple philosophy: treat every patient like family. He knows that visiting an oral surgeon is rarely how you want to spend your day, so he focuses on giving you the best “bad day” you’ve ever had. Rather than telling patients what to do, Dr. Lee communicates directly and warmly, explaining every option clearly so you can make highly informed decisions about your own care.

Education & academic connection

Dr. Lee graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry before completing a rigorous residency in full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery at Geisinger Health System in central Pennsylvania.

After residency, he stayed at Geisinger as an attending faculty surgeon and assistant professor at the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. He maintains a strong connection to academic medicine today, traveling back to Pennsylvania monthly as an adjunct assistant professor to perform specialized sleep surgery.

Clinical scope & affiliations

In his daily practice, Dr. Lee manages the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery. His clinical focus includes:

  • Wisdom tooth extraction and general extractions
  • IV sedation and office-based anesthesia
  • Dental implants (including All-on-X full-arch reconstruction)
  • Sleep surgery (specifically hypoglossal nerve stimulator implants)
  • Benign pathology, facial trauma, and TMJ surgery

Dr. Lee maintains active hospital privileges at both Avita Health System and Geisinger Health System, ensuring his patients receive seamless, comprehensive care from the clinic to the hospital environment.
